Living on a Cruise Ship – College is Sweet
Few things in life are better than cruising and college is one of those exceptions. The lucky students at St. Mary’s College of Maryland somehow managed to find a way to combine the two. I’m guessing the guy that invented the reese’s pieces had something to do with this.
Students at this liberal arts college were suffering from mold contamination in their previous dorms and were displaced from the normal college-living environment. Rather than putting them up in hotels, the administration employed some creative thinking skills and stuck the 200 students on a rented cruise ship. The Voyager cruise ship was previously in retirement and once belonged to Delta Queen Coastal Voyages.
In a related story… students in dormitories across the country are hiding cheese blocks in heating ducks in attempts to cultivate mold.
